About 'university connecticut athletics'|Georgetown/Connecticut: Who Ya Got








               Gene               Wojciechowski's               ode               to               college               football               is               a               great               read.

The               only               problem               is               that               it's               written               as               a               love               letter;               he               was               guided               by               his               emotions.



               And               don't               get               me               wrong,               I               love               college               football.
               But               let's               be               realistic               about               this.

While               Wojciechowski               does               point               out               that               college               football               has               its               shortcomings,               simply               giving               them               a               passing               mention               isn't               enough.
               As               the               Summer               of               Manziel               has               shown,               it's               a               wonder               how               college               football               has               been               able               to               survive               so               many               scandals               without               serious               backlash.

The               players               and               even               the               sport               itself               seem               practically               untouchable.
               So               why               would               someone               who               claims               to               be               a               fan               find               so               many               reasons               to               hate               a               sport               they               care               so               deeply               about?
               In               hopes               of               fixing               it,               of               course.
               Wojciechowski               got               a               lot               of               things               right               in               his               article.

College               football               is               an               awesomely               inspirational               sport               that's               uniquely               American.
               But               it's               time               to               stop               looking               at               it               through               rose-colored               lenses.
               Why?

Here               are               100               reasons.
               1.

I               hate               universities               that               make               football               a               priority               over               education.
               2.

That               in               my               home               state               of               Arkansas,               the               football               coach               gets               paid               more               than               the               medical               school's               Chief               of               Surgery.
               3.

I               hate               the               over-commercialization               of               the               game.
               4.

Naming               rights.
               5.

That               places               like               TCF               Bank               Stadium               and               Papa               John's               Cardinal               Stadium               even               exist.
               6.

Fields               with               corporate               stains               on               them.
               7.

The               sheer               number               of               bowl               games.

We're               up               to               35               and               counting.
               8.

6-6               teams               qualifying               for               a               bowl.
               9.

And               that               nearly               all               the               bowl               games               have               names               that               sound               like               advertising               slogans.
               10.

I               hate               that               winning               the               Heisman               Trophy               has               become               a               beauty               contest.
               11.

Tim               Tebow               finishing               in               the               Top               3               in               2008               while               Graham               Harrell               missed               the               cut.
               12.

The               stigma               toward               defensive               players.

If               Nebraska's               Ndamukong               Suh               couldn't               win               one,               what               hope               is               there?
               13.

The               fact               that               there               are               125               schools               competing               in               the               FBS               this               year               and               no               player               outside               of               the               Power               Six               has               a               chance               to               win               the               Heisman.
               14.

Stadium               expansion.
               15.

And               the               belief               that               having               a               bigger               stadium               equates               having               a               better               team.
               16.

Houston               Nutt.

We               put               up               with               this               guy               for               a               decade.

How?
               17.

I               hate               pay-for-play               proponents.
               18.

Writers               who               say               the               NCAA               treats               [football]               players               like               slaves.
               19.

Senior               seasons.

And               the               stigma               that               comes               with               it.

Because               in               today's               game               it               usually               means               the               player               has               no               football               prospects               after               college.

Either               that,               or               he's               a               reserve.
               20.

The               players               who               don't               care               about               the               tradition               or               the               pageantry               of               college               football.
               21.

Knowing               that               they               wouldn't               stick               around               campus               any               longer               than               they               already               have               to.
               22.

I               hate               the               BCS.

Even               now               that               it's               gone.

I               hate,               hate,               hate               it.
               23.

Remember               in               2003,               when               Oklahoma               lost               in               the               Big               12               Championship               Game               but               still               got               to               play               in               the               BCS               Championship               Game?
               24.

Or               when               the               Sooners               got               in               again               the               next               year               instead               of               Auburn,               and               got               thrashed               by               USC?
               25.

An               inept               and               out               of               touch               NCAA.
               26.

That               high-profile               schools               and               players               often               escape               harsh               punishments.
               27.

Terrell               Pryor,               Dan               Herron,               DeVier               Posey,               Mike               Adams,               and               Solomon               Thomas               playing               in               the               2010               Sugar               Bowl.
               28.

Also,               we               are               two               years               removed               from               the               Nevin               Shapiro               scandal               at               Miami               (Fla.).

Remember               that?

I               guess               a               handful               of               suspensions               was               enough               to               satisfy               the               NCAA.
               29.

People               who               feel               sorry               for               Joe               Paterno               and               Penn               State.
               30.

That               for               a               few               months,               the               fate               of               Penn               State's               football               program               and               Joe               Paterno's               legacy               was               more               talked               about               than               Jerry               Sandusky's               victims.
               31.

I               hate               that               the               Southwest               Conference,               one               of               college               football's               premier               leagues               for               more               than               80               years,               collapsed.
               32.

And               the               domino               effect               of               conference               realignment               that               it               started.
               33.

West               Virginia               being               in               the               Big               12.
               34.

Syracuse               moving               to               the               ACC.
               35.

Missouri               joining               the               SEC               instead               of               Florida               State               or               Clemson.
               36.

The               idea               of               Connecticut,               South               Florida,               and               Tulsa               all               being               in               the               same               conference.
               37.

I               hate               that               many               teams               schedule               an               absolute               dog               on               homecoming               to               try               and               guarantee               a               win.
               38.

The               fact               that               Florida               hasn't               played               an               out               of               conference               opponent               on               the               road               in               nearly               25               years.
               39.

Indiana               being               a               football-member               of               the               Big               10.
               40.

That               schools               have               cut               down               on               playing               in               neutral               site               locations               across               their               state.
               41.

Alabama               and               Auburn               moving               the               Iron               Bowl               out               of               Legion               Field.
               42.

Ole               Miss               and               Mississippi               State               moving               the               Egg               Bowl               away               from               Jackson,               Miss.
               43.

I               hate               the               terrible               announcers.
               44.

Gary               Danielson               and               Verne               Lundquist.
               45.

Pam               Ward.
               46.

Brent               Musberger.
               47.

Bob               Griese.
               48.

This               guy.
               49.

Can't               forget               Mark               May               and               Lou               Holtz,               either.
               50.

I               hate               that               the               Oklahoma-Texas               game               changed               its               name               to               the               "Red               River               Rivalry."
               51.

And               Arkansas               State               changed               its               nickname               to               the               Red               Wolves.

(Florida               State               is               still               the               Seminoles,               by               the               way.)
               52.

The               SEC               crackdown               on               cowbells               at               Mississippi               State               games.
               53.

Boise               State's               "Smurf               Turf."
               54.

Eastern               Washington's               red               turf.
               55.

The               University               of               Central               Arkansas'               alternating               purple               and               gray               turf.
               56.

I               hate               the               ridiculous               number               of               terrible               uniform               combinations.
               The               Maryland               Terrapins               have               got               to               be               the               worst               offenders.
               57.

Fans               and               media               members               who               think               the               football               Bedlam               Series               is               a               premiere               rivalry.

C'mon,               Oklahoma               holds               an               75-17-7               all-time               advantage.

The               Sooners               only               lost               one               game               between               1967               and               1994,               for               crying               out               loud.
               58.

AP               writers               who               give               No.

1               votes               to               completely               undeserving               teams.
               59.

The               terrible               officials               that               permeate               every               conference.
               60.

The               terrible               officiating               that               seems               to               haunt               every               big               Arkansas               game.
               61.

I               hate               how               ESPN               only               gives               intense               coverage               to               the               established               names.
               62.

The               completely               undeserved               hype               a               high-profile               program               starts               its               season               2-0.
               (Looking               at               you,               2009               Miami               Hurricanes.)
               63.

And               remember               when               good               coaches               used               to               stay               at               one               school               for               an               extended               amount               of               time?
               64.

I               hate               that               fans               are               dissuaded               from               storming               the               field.



               65.

That               it               happens               too               often               now.
               66.

And               that               you               might               get               arrested               if               you               do               it.
               67.

Oh,               and               the               SEC               will               levy               a               serious               fine               against               your               school               as               well.
               68.

I               hate               that               a               pizza               and               a               coke               at               Razorback               stadium               costs               more               than               $20.
               69.

That               Arkansas               made               student               tickets               harder               to               get.
               70.

Let's               not               forget,               they               also               stopped               guaranteeing               students               seats.
               71.

And               were               willing               to               build               a               brand               new               practice               facility               while               the               campus               runs               out               of               space               for               its               students.
               72.

I               hate               the               "facilities               arms               races."
               73.

Which               happen               while               a               majority               of               college               students               and               athletes               of               less               popular               sports               wallow               in               debt               that               will               haunt               them               the               rest               of               their               lives.

(Marble               floors               imported               from               Italy,               are               you               kidding               me?)
               74.

The               people               who               believe               football               players               "go               pro"               in               something               outside               the               world               of               football.
               75.

The               people               who               believe               a               majority               of               football               players               are               "student               athletes."
               76.

And               people               who               think               the               football               players               live               in               a               dorm               and               eat               in               a               cafeteria               similar               to               anything               like               that               of               a               normal               student.
               77.

That               students               are               forced               to               move               their               cars               from               student               lots               before               game               day               and               have               to               pay               out               of               pocket               to               park               it               somewhere               else.

(Often               far               from               their               dorms.)
               78.

That               Matt               Leinart               got               to               play               one               more               season               at               USC               because               he               took               Ball               Room               Dancing               as               his               only               class.
               79.

Athletes               who               get               free               (expensive)               textbooks               and               sell               them               back               at               a               profit.
               80.

That               Arkansas'               beautiful               video               replay               board               has               most               of               its               picture               obscured               by               AT&T               ads.



               81.

I               hate               how               football               players               are               treated               differently               than               their               fellow               student               athletes.
               82.

When               authorities               look               the               other               way               when               a               member               of               the               football               team               is               involved               in               a               quagmire.
               83.

Case               in               point:               Michael               Dyer.

Who               is               now               on               his               third               team               (Louisville).
               84.

Coaches               who               get               a               free               pass.
               85.

Jim               Tressle               at               Ohio               State.
86.

And               that               Tressel               actually               believed               Pryor's               promise               that               he               would               return               for               his               senior               season.

87.

Urban               Meyer's               players               arrest               record.
               88.

And               many,               many               others.
               89.

The               depressing               notion               that               steroids               might               have               infiltrated               the               college               game.
               90.

I               hate               that               the               Arkansas-Texas               rivalry               is               dead.
               91.

And               the               Hogs               will               no               longer               play               LSU               at               the               end               of               the               season.
               92.

Instead               we'll               play               Missouri               -               who               the               Hogs               have               played               three               times               in               their               entire               history               -               at               the               end               of               the               season.

Yippee.
               93.

Even               though               I               won't               miss               LSU's               Les               Miles               purposely               mispronouncing               Arkansas.
               94.

This               pass               interference               call               against               Arkansas               in               the               2010               Florida               game.
               95.

I               hate               that               Gene               Wojciechowski               actually               thinks               Bobby               Petrino               needs               another               "second               chance."
               96.

The               fact               that               the               immortal               Bear               Bryant               (an               Arkansas               native)               was               on               his               way               to               accept               a               job               in               Fayetteville               when               World               War               II               broke               out.
               97.

Coaches               who               abandon               their               schools               because               of               an               oncoming               scandal.

(Looking               at               you,               Pete               Carroll               and               Chip               Kelly).
               98.

Razorback               fans               who               think               winning               a               national               title               makes               or               breaks               the               season.

(We've               only               appeared               in               three               SEC               Championship               Games               since               leaving               the               SWC               in               1991)
               99.

That               tons               of               scholarships               go               to               football,               leaving               the               rest               of               the               athletic               programs               to               fight               over               the               scraps               -               especially               the               women's               programs.
               100.

And               lastly,               I               hate               that               there               are               so               many               egregious               problems               with               a               sport               I               love               so               dearly.

    Having               a               huge               family               and               a               wide               range               of               friends               that               live               all               over               the               United               States,               it               is               quite               fun               and               scary               to               hear               a               ghost               story               from               each               location.

    As               much               as               some               can               believe               and               some               do               not,               please               remember               that               anything               can               happen.

    So               if               you               do               visit               any               of               these               locations…               make               sure               that               a               tour               is               available.

    And               always               ask               questions               about               the               places'               histories,               you'll               be               amazed               at               how               many               creepy               stories               you               can               discover.

    In               Tuscaloosa,               Alabama,               Bryce               Mental               Institution               has               been               raising               hairs               on               visitors               and               new               employee's               heads.

    The               institution               was               abandoned               in               the               60's               after               over               a               hundred               years               of               service.

    New               employees               of               the               institution               have               up               and               quit               after               a               few               days,               claiming               of               unusual               happenings               that               prevents               them               to               do               their               job.

    Mysterious               scratch               marks               appear               on               visitor's               skin               while               in               the               mental               institution               but               after               leaving               the               scratches               are               no               longer               there.
                   Fairbanks,               Alaska,               in               the               Northern               Lights               Hotel,               the               hotel               experienced               a               death               of               a               little               girl               on               the               third               floor.

    After               her               death               the               third               floor               of               the               hotel               was               abandoned               and               closed               off.

    Since               then,               front               desk               receptionists               have               said               of               getting               phone               calls               from               room               number               303               where               the               girl               was               staying               when               she               died.

    Receptionists               say               the               little               girl               keeps               saying               she               is               looking               for               her               mother.
                   In               Tucson,               Arizona               at               the               Colossal               Cave,               a               figure               of               a               man               has               been               seen               charges               at               people               with               a               pick               ax               then               disappearing.

    Singing               and               moaning               in               the               miners               shaft               has               also               been               heard               as               well               as               a               feeling               that               someone               is               breathing               down               your               neck.
                   Gurdon,               Arkansas               back               in               1931               had               a               railroad               community               where               a               local               man               named               William               McClain               worked.

    McClain               fired               one               of               his               co-workers               that               year               that               became               furious               and               strike               McClain               from               behind               with               a               spike               decapitating               him.

    Hundreds               have               claimed               to               see               the               light               of               the               swinging               lantern               from               the               decapitated               man               as               he               walks               along               railroad               tracks.
                   The               Winchester               House               in               San               Jose,               California               is               an               interesting               sight…               this               160               room               Victorian               mansion               is               valued               over               five               million               dollars.

    There               are               supposedly               13               of               almost               everything               in               the               house.

    Windows               contain               13               panes               of               glass;               the               walls               had               13               panels;               the               greenhouse               had               13               cupolas;               many               of               the               wooden               floors               contained               13               sections;               some               of               the               rooms               had               13               windows               and               every               staircase               but               one               had               13               steps.

    There               are               countless               staircases               which               led               nowhere;               a               blind               chimney               that               stops               short               of               the               ceiling;               closets               that               opened               to               blank               walls;               trap               doors;               double-back               hallways;               skylights               that               were               located               one               above               another;               doors               that               opened               to               steep               drops               to               the               lawn               below;.

    And               13               drain               holes               in               the               kitchen               sink               and               a               12-light               gas               chandelier               modified               to               13               lights.

    This               house               is               also               said               to               be               a               virtual               maze;               that               only               the               spirits               and               Mrs.

    Winchester               truly               know               their               way               around               the               home.

    There               is               a               room               in               the               house               that               is               called               the               Blue               Room.

    It               is               a               small,               windowless               room               where               Mrs.

    Winchester               supposedly               held               nightly               séances.

    After,               Mrs.

    Winchester               would               'have               dinner'               with               the               spirits.

    She               would               set               thirteen               places               on               her               table,               along               with               thirteen               plates               filled               with               food.
                   Aurora,               Colorado               at               the               Smoky               Hill               7-11,               this               7-11               was               built               on               an               old               Indian               Reservation.

    After               midnight,               things               randomly               flying               off               the               shelves               when               no               one               is               near               them,               glowing               red               eyes               are               seen               in               the               back               of               the               cooler,               and               when               you               leave               you               can               hear               voices               of               the               natives               saying               "Thank               you,               please               come               back               and               see               us."
                   In               Bristol,               Connecticut               at               the               Peacedale               Cemetery,               those               who               have               a               deep               emotional               problem               bothering               them               can               find               sightings               and               be               followed               by               a               white               wolf               that               lurks               near               the               banks               of               a               nearby               stream.
                   In               Dover,               Delaware               a               woman               by               the               name               of               Patty               Cannon               killed               herself               before               her               execution               of               decapitation.

    She               was               decapitated               anyway               and               her               skull               is               stored               at               the               Dover               Public               Library.

    Patty               Cannon               is               said               to               haunt               the               library               searching               for               her               lost               head.
                   Frostproof,               Florida               at               the               four               way               stop               sign               on               Bereha               road.

    You               may               have               to               sit               there               for               about               ten               minutes               but               a               light               will               float               up               to               your               car.
                   The               Andersonville               Civil               War               Prison               in               Andersonville,               Georgia               surrounds               you               with               a               feel               of               suffering               and               also               the               feeling               of               people               reaching               at               you               and               grabbing               you               for               help.
                   Driving               past               the               bridge               entering               the               forest               in               Kalihi               Valley               you               can               hear               voices               asking               you               to               "Come               Here"               and               if               you               are               driving               at               night               many               have               said               they               have               spotted               a               cross               burning.

    Many               who               have               been               returning               from               the               forest               have               reported               their               vehicles               to               shift               into               neutral               on               its               own.
                   There               is               an               old               building               next               the               river               in               Idaho               Falls,               Idaho               on               Wednesday               nights               after               9pm               you               can               see               a               man               jumping               from               the               window.
                   The               Pasta               House               in               Belleville,               Illinois               is               said               to               be               haunted               by               a               family               that               was               killed               there               and               if               you               stay               there               late               enough               you               can               hear               a               woman               and               child               scream.
                   Beware               when               visiting               the               Mudlavia               Hotel               and               Spa               in               Attica,               Indiana.

    Ghosts               scratch               your               back               and               push               you               down               stairs.

    Satanic               symbols               are               said               to               be               painted               in               the               lower               portion               of               the               hotel.

    Rumors               have               said               that               this               hotel               has               been               in               use               as               a               KKK               area               or               a               Satan               worshipping               meeting               ground.
                   At               Parkers               Grove               in               Cedar               Rapids,               Iowa               there               is               a               carving               of               a               face               on               a               grave               where               when               you               visit               there               at               night               you               can               see               the               face               cry               and               the               eyes               are               damp               or               wet.
                   Round               Mound               Cemetery               in               Cummings,               Kansas               has               hit               TIME               magazine               it               is               so               spooky.

    Late               at               night               you               can               hear               the               screams               coming               from               the               graves.
                   In               Bowling               Green,               Kentucky,               a               girl               jumped               off               an               old               metal               bridge               and               drowned.

    Rumor               has               it               that               if               you               go               to               the               end               of               the               bridge               turn               your               car               off               and               put               it               in               neutral               that               the               ghost               of               the               girl               will               pull               you               across               the               bridge.
                   Fort               Jackson,               in               Buras,               Louisiana               holds               the               ghosts               of               the               soldiers               who               died               fighting               in               the               Civil               War               and               can               be               seen               walking               in               the               dark               of               night.
                   On               the               Outer               Heron               Island               portion               of               Heron               Island,               Maine,               a               headless               ghost               has               been               seen               looking               for               his               head.

    The               ghost               is               supposively               a               captain               of               a               ship               that               wrecked.
                   Landover,               Maryland               on               Lott               ford               Vista               Rd,               reports               of               a               burning               man               run               ghostly               around               the               road.
                   At               the               Roosevelt               Park               and               Woods               area               in               Magnolia,               Massachusetts,               your               clothing               will               be               mysteriously               pulled               at               and               you               will               hear               wailing               and               blood               randomly               showing               up               on               your               skin               then               eventually               disappearing.
                   Marrow               Road,               Algonac,               Michigan,               a               woman               went               out               in               winter               to               find               her               toddler               and               they               had               both               froze               to               death.

    Fact               has               proven               that               if               you               honk               your               horn               three               times               the               woman               will               appear               in               a               blood               covered               gown               and               see               if               you               have               her               baby.
                   At               the               Maplewood               Community               Center,               you               could               be               pulled               under               in               their               pool               by               a               boy               that               has               been               spotted               at               the               bottom               of               the               pool.
                   At               the               National               Military               Park               in               Vicksburg,               Mississippi,               parts               of               the               civil               war               had               been               fought               here               and               you               can               still               see               the               soldiers               battling               and               hear               gunshots               at               around               one               a.m.
                   Excelsior               Springs               at               Tryst               Falls               in               Missouri               a               woman               drowned               her               baby               to               save               it               from               slavery.

    At               night               you               can               sometimes               see               the               African-American               woman               or               hear               the               baby's               screams.
                   At               the               University               of               Montana               at               the               Brantley               Hall,               a               student               took               her               own               life               because               of               the               Wall               Street               crash               of               1929.

    It               seems               as               though               her               ghost               is               still               trying               to               graduate               at               some               point.
                   Ghosts               and               grave               headstones               can               be               seen               tipping               over               and               rising               back               up               again               at               the               Ball               Cemetery               in               Louisville,               Nebraska.
                   At               the               Gold               Hill               Hotel               in               Gold               Hill,               Nevada,               alarm               clocks               go               off               every               how               even               when               unplugged.
                   The               two               dollar               movie               theatre               in               Nashua,               New               Hampshire,               the               atmosphere               is               very               electrically               charged.

    Several               kills               have               taken               place               in               the               parking               lot               and               theatre.
                   Many               sightings               of               children               crying               near               old               tombstones               at               the               graveyard               on               route               47               in               South               Dennis,               New               Jersey.
                   An               Abandoned               Insane               Asylum               in               Albuquerque,               New               Mexico               an               old               patient               went               crazy               and               killed               several               people.

    The               Asylum               is               abandoned               and               the               owners               are               against               trespassing               on               the               property,               however               those               people               who               get               through               have               been               witnessed               having               a               large               black               cloud               hovering               over               their               heads               as               well               as               pictures               revealing               the               black               hovering               clouds               overheads.
                   Residents               at               the               Fordham               University               in               the               Finlay               Hall               at               the               Bronx,               New               York               have               been               awoken               by               unseen               hands               grabbing               at               their               throats.
                   Gravity               Hill               in               Davidson,               North               Carolina,               legend               states               that               a               woman's               car               broke               down               one               night               and               was               killed               after               it               rolled               over,               if               you               stop               your               car               at               the               bottom               of               the               hill               the               woman               will               push               you               to               the               top               and               you               can               see               her               hand               prints               if               you               put               a               flower               on               the               back               of               the               car.
                   At               the               old               Armory               in               Williston,               North               Dakota,               mannequins               have               been               seen               to               move               on               their               own.
                   Living               in               Ohio               had               proved               to               show               me               the               Warren               Judicial               Courthouse's               spooky               moments.

    In               Warren,               Ohio,               the               Courthouse               at               one               time               was               a               jail               and               you               can               hear               echoes               of               footsteps               in               the               halls               of               prisoners               who               never               made               it               out               of               the               cells.
                   The               yellow               eyes               of               a               Black               Panther               haunt               the               Black               Panther               Creek               along               the               bridge               in               Comanche,               Oklahoma.
                   The               Oregon               Vortex               is               the               most               awesome               sight               to               see.

    Near               Gold               Hill,               Oregon,               visitors               have               seen               the               Scottish               scientist               who               discovered               the               area               standing               on               top               of               the               sloping               floor               and               laughing.

    My               best               friend               visited               there               recently               and               said               it               was               definitely               a               place               that               will               raise               hairs               on               your               neck               and               keep               you               in               awe.

    Once               I               get               pictures               from               her               and               information               I               will               elaborate               on               this               place.
                   My               home               state….

    13               bends               in               Harmarville,               Pennsylvania,               an               orphanage               burned               down               with               all               the               kids               still               in               it               and               it               is               said               that               the               hill               that               you               go               up,               all               the               bumps               that               you               go               over               are               the               buried               children.

    There               are               13               bends               when               you               go               up               the               hill               and               only               12               when               you               come               down.

    Stop               halfway               up               the               hill               and               turn               you               car               off,               if               you               put               baby               powder               on               the               windows               and               turn               your               car               back               on               you               can               see               little               handprints.

    Also               in               Elizabeth,               Pennsylvania               there               is               another               13               bends               of               another               orphanage               around               the               same               time               that               burned               down               in               the               1900's.

    At               this               location               the               children               can               be               heard               crying               for               help               and               reaching               out               for               visitors.

    Some               have               even               witnessed               ghostly               cars               chasing               you               around               the               bends.

    This               location               is               a               definite               go               for               me               to               explore               this               Halloween.
                   During               the               colonial               era               at               the               South               Kingstown               Great               Swamp               in               Rhode               Island               there               was               a               massacre               between               colonists               and               Indians.

    At               night               you               can               still               hear               cries,               gunshots,               and               see               soldiers               walking.
                   A               civil               war               soldier               had               his               arm               cut               off               during               battle               on               Sleepy               Hollow               Rd.

    in               Lockhart,               South               Carolina,               has               been               seen               standing               on               the               side               of               the               road               calling               and               crying               for               help.
                   In               Deadwood,               South               Dakota               at               the               Hotel               Bullock,               the               town's               first               sheriff               has               been               seen               frequently               haunting               this               hotel.
                   The               Gatlinburg               Holiday               Inn               Sunspree               Resorts               in               Tennessee               are               haunted               by               many               spirits               and               many               demons.

    Many               murders               and               homicides               have               occurred               in               the               60's,               70's,               80's               and               90's.
                   If               you're               looking               for               a               scare               and               a               bite               to               eat,               visit               the               Austin               Pizza               Garden               in               Austin,               Texas.

    People               have               witnessed               faces               appearing               and               disappearing               in               the               walls.
                   Ogden,               Utah's               Radisson               Suite               Hotel               has               consistent               elevator               stops               on               the               fifth               floor               when               no               one               requests               that               stop.

    People               say               they               feel               a               presence               walk               past               them               and               a               smell               of               sweet               perfume.
                   Beware               of               Rublee               St.

    in               St.

    Albans,               Vermont               is               haunted               by               a               poltergeist               that               has               captured               and               harmed               people.

    This               may               be               a               tempting               site               to               see,               but               be               cautious.
                   Walney               Road               in               Chantilly,               Virginia               is               another               beware               location.

    I               would               suggest               avoiding               it               at               any               cost               on               a               Wednesday               or               Thursday               night               around               11:30pm.

    A               hitchhiker               will               appear               and               appear               three               times               to               give               you               the               chance               to               give               him               a               lift.

    If               after               the               third               time               you               do               not               help               him,               a               car               will               appear               out               of               nowhere               and               try               to               kill               you.
                   Washington's               Carnation               Cemetery               in               Carnation,               Washington               threatens               visitors               with               strange               footsteps,               odd               whispering               in               their               ears,               and               strong               pains               upon               entering.
                   At               the               CITGO               gas               station               on               Dallas               Pike               in               Dallas,               West               Virginia,               workers               have               seen               gas               pumps               going               off               on               their               own               without               the               handle               being               lifted               and               there               are               black               shadows               roaming               around               the               cameras.
                   Driving               across               the               Lowell               Bridge               in               Lowell,               Wisconsin               if               you               stop               in               the               middle               of               the               bridge               blood               is               known               to               start               dripping               from               the               railings.
                   Anything               dealing               with               Yellowstone               National               Park               I               find               fascinating,               especially               this               occurrence               at               the               Old               Faithful               Inn               in               Wyoming.

    Two               guests               awoke               in               their               room               that               was               extremely               hot               in               the               middle               of               the               night               to               find               that               their               clothes               were               removed               and               folded               on               their               bed.

    The               radiator               in               their               room               was               off.
